In some cases there are contents ruled by some variant of creative commons that regulate some of its rights. Whenever this happens, it is specified.

Recoursing to quotation rights fragments of content under any restrictive copyright can be reproduced. In these cases it will be expressed that it is a quotation by using the quotation tag <citaL> that displays: 'this is a quotation '. It will be also expressed the information on the rights about the content.

An explanation provided by the Legal services of SGAE (Spanish Society of Authors Composers and Publishers) :

'What are quotation rights?

It constitutes a legally established restriction on the rights concerning creators. It allows the inclusion in a work of fragments by other creators whether these fragments being words, sounds or audiovisual material, as well as isolated works of plastic, photographic, figurative or analogous, nature, as far as they are already published and their inclusion is as a quotation or analysis, comment or piece of criticism. The use of quotation rights is limited by: it has to be for education or investigation concerns; it has to be justified by the final purpose of the work and its author’s name and source must be indicated.

Periodical compilations carried out as reviews or press magazines are also to be considered as quotations. They are put on the same level with quotations by jeans of a legal fiction that is justified by information purpose and by the social interest to culture.'
